Steuler

Steuler offers both an open loop and closed loop system for the reduction of NOx. for your Diesel or Gas engines. Steuler can also include in their housing an Oxidation catalyst in order to reduce CO, and Hydrocarbons. The average life of our catalyst material is over 4 years in most applications. Each housing has an empty layer to be used at a later date for providing additional catalyst to provide the most life out of your catalyst material.

The Open loop systems are used primarily for applications with NOx reductions of less then 80%. These systems do not use a NOx analyzer at the output to monitor the gas leaving the system. It adds Urea through a predictive emission monitoring system which utilizes stored engine load kept in the computer memory.

The closed loop system uses a NOx analyzer on the output of the catalyst to monitor and change the output of the Urea based on the engines demand. In application found in California, Steuler has guaranteed reductions of 95%Nox, 95% CO and 66% of VOC's utilizing the closed loop system.
